2019 Wedding dress trends — Timeless Love Weddings.

Thanksgiving has past and Christmas is upon on us and that means only one thing…. ENGAGEMENT SEASON. From now till February it will be impossible to go on Facebook or Instagram and not see one or two of your friends showing off their new bling.

For me, it’s the best time of the year. I love meeting with couples, listening to their stories and learning about their wedding vision. As the planning begins, and you start making a decision on your venue and vendors, I thought I’d share some fun trends happening in your neck of the woods. We’ve teamed up with some of our favorite vendors to share what’s hot for 2019. Each week we’ll be sharing different trends we’re seeing in some of the most popular categories.

This week we spoke with Amy co-owner of Simply Blush Bridal out of Knightdale to see what brides are wearing. Other than the Venue, the bride just can’t wait to try on the perfect gown.

1. The Beautiful Bolero

Amy mentioned she seen this trend grow during the last few months. Their brides are adding a bolero to your wedding gown to offer versatility with a sweet, classic touch. Some have it removable for the reception. She said, “you can add chandelier earrings and have TWO amazing looks for your wedding day and reception”.

2. Sleeves are IN!

We’re seeing a return to classic cuts and simple fabrics. In fact, a lot of brides getting married next year are wearing gowns with sleeves.

 3.      High Glam

We’ve seen an increase especial for our fall brides that are going for something a little more glamorous with the beaded or jeweled gown. We love a tiered wedding dress that boasts dazzling detailed designed to catch your eye. These dresses are not for the shy and timid, but if you’re relishing the idea of being the center of attention, it could be an ideal dress.

 4. Skipping White

One way our brides are showing off their style by opting to skip the traditional white and go for something with a bit more color. Soft Greys, light blues, and blush are becoming more popular.
